Paper 2
I couldn’t
really think of a significant new place that I had visited within the past year
that would be worth writing about, however I did travel across the country to
Virginia about a year and a half ago. I understand that this is outside the
timeframe, but this trip was so memorable that it feels like I was there
yesterday. The reason for my visit to Virginia was due to a football camp. This
camp was called Football University Top Gun, and it held some of the most elite
athletes throughout the country. Now I know that I am not necessarily one of
the most elite, but I was blessed enough to get the invite to go to the camp.
During my time in Virginia, I was outside for the most part doing physical
activity. The climate there was not my cup of tea to say the least. It was like
you were running around in a steam room the whole time. The temperature was
upwards of 90 degrees and it was extremely humid; so once you start to sweat,
you wont dry off for just about the whole day. I wasn’t able to experience much
of the landmarks or historical attractions due to the fact that I was at the
camp the whole time. I would most definitely like to go back to Virginia so I
can get a sense of what the state is really like instead of just going for a
football camp. Don’t get me wrong, I had a great time and I will never forget
this trip, but I would’ve liked to experience more of the state of Virginia. If
I could travel to one place anywhere in the world, it would most likely be
somewhere like the Bahamas or the Caribbean islands. These places just look so
beautiful and it seems impossible to not have a good time when you’re on those
white-sand beaches looking out at the crystal clear ocean. I would take my
entire extended family along with me if I could and we would stay there until we
didn’t want to be there anymore.
Really, no other memorable trips to local eateries or hang out spots in the last year?
ReplyDeleteAt any rate, a trip such as this one does sound pretty unforgettable. Glad you got the experience and thanks for sharing...
